FIBER Festival

The Amsterdam based Mattikk (Thijs van de Wijngaert) is a longtime FIBER friend and highly skilled DJ and selector. He started playing and collecting records over 10 years ago where his focus throughout this period has always been on the darker side of music. Along this road his taste evolved from deep and grimey bass music to the unstructured rhythms of techno and electro.

After many many DJ sessions (one of them at the FIBER Festival 2012 in Trouw Amsterdam), last year turned out to be a pivotal year: playing Dekmantels Selectors in Croatia and returning gigs at Shelter Amsterdam alongside the likes of Objekt, Mike Parker and DJ Pete. 2017 kicked off with his first appearance at De School together with Peter Van Hoesen and his bi-monthly Delsin Radio show on Red Light Radio where he showcases a wide spectrum of electronic explorations.
