Nick Verstand’s intuitive installations trigger exploration and interaction, as co-creations of the artist, object, and audience, they form sensory experiences that reach into the audience’s subconscious mind. Nick will share his experiences in how to create a sustainable art practice as part of the Art ‘n Commerce panel.

Nick Verstand (1984) is a contemporary artist exploring how science and technology affect human perception and consciousness. His large-scale immersive art installations – spatial compositions of visuals, light and sound – transform human behavior into hypnotic environments.

His work has acquired recognition from renowned institutions like the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, TED, Creators Project, Van Gogh Museum, SXSW, EYE Film Institute, Royal Concertgebouw, European Union, Amsterdam Dance Event, Lumen Prize, Sandberg Institute, Reykjavik Art Museum and the V&A.
